i finally got to watch return of the king yesterday. great flik, great trilogy! but after reading that article in the newspaper (which my writers' bloc comrades know of), every time sam and frodo were anywhere near each other, there was this little voice in the back of my head going "oh, shit, GAY!"

after the movie, we stepped into a bookstore, and there was this whole shelf dedicated to tolkien. i found it kind of sad; does the book have to be made into a movie first before you even hear of it? what is wrong with you, humanity?!?!
